Ingredients
Smashed Potatoes
- 1 lb baby potatoes (450 g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- â…› teaspoon onion powder
- â…› teaspoon salt
- Black pepper, to taste
To Serve
- Fresh parsley
- Garlic yogurt sauce
Instructions
- Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover them with water. Add a pinch of salt if wanted, then bring to a boil.
- Turn down the heat and cook potatoes for 15-20 minutes until they are fork-tender.
- Preheat your oven to 400 °F (200 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Drain the potatoes and line them next to each other on the baking sheet.
- Using a fork, potato masher or bottom of a glass, mash each potato without breaking it.
- Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with the spices.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with fresh parsley and garlic yogurt sauce!
Notes
- Any leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days once cooled.
