Quick Artisan Bread
- 1.5 cups warm water
- ½ tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- Combine yeast and warm water in a large mixing bowl.
- Add flour and salt, then mix until well incorporated with a wooden spoon.
- Cover with a clean towel and let sit in a warm place for 2 hours until the dough doubles in volume.
- Preheat oven to 450 °F (220 °C) and knead your dough on a floured, clean surface.
- Shape into a roundish bread-like shape and transfer to a baking sheet.
- Place on the middle rack of your oven and bake for 30 minutes or until slightly brown on the top and bottom.
- Remove from oven and let cool before slicing!
