Make this year’s holiday season really special with these vegan Christmas drinks and cocktails! Delicious recipes for everyone in your family. The following classic vegan hot chocolate will be a hit with young and old alike!
Serves 2

Ingredients

Vegan Hot Chocolate

  • 2 cups dairy-free milk 480 ml
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 oz dark vegan chocolate melted (113 g)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Vegan whipped cream or marshmallows optional

Instructions

  • Place soy milk and sugar in a small saucepan and whisk to combine. Warm over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until little bubbles form.
  • Turn off the heat and add the melted chocolate and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined, then adjust to taste preferences.
  • Top with whipped cream or marshmallows and serve warm!

Notes

  • We like to use soy milk for this recipe but oat milk also works.
