2 dates pitted and chopped ½ cup tomato paste 130 g 3 sundried tomatoes oil-free, chopped 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon cinnamon 3-4 tablespoons water 2 teaspoons paprika powder
Place the dates, sundried tomatoes and 1 cup of hot water in your blender and let it soak for 10 minutes.
Once this time has elapsed, blend these components until smooth.
Add all the other ingredients and blend to create a homogenous mixture. Adjust to taste preferences.
Use immediately or warm your ketchup on the stove for 5 minutes to let the spices develop a rich flavor!
Once cooled, store any leftovers in an airtight jar or glass bottle in the fridge for at least 2 weeks.
If you’re short on time, you can skip the cooking part but it does deepen the flavors.
This ketchup can be frozen in freezer-safe containers for at least 2 months and thawed in the fridge overnight.
