Saute onion and garlic for a few minutes, then add the mushrooms and cook until all liquid has evaporated.
Put along with the beets, flaxseeds, walnuts, kidney beans, herbs and spices into a food processor. Pulse a few times to obtain a crumbly texture.
Form into patties and bake at 350° F for 30 minutes, flipping them after 15 minutes. Remove once done, then assemble your burgers with mashed avocadoes, lettuce, mustard and BBQ sauce on buns.
