Ingredients

Baked Avocado Fries

  • 1 avocado sliced
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 3-4 tablespoons aquafaba chickpea liquid

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 °F/200 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Toss breadcrumbs with salt and spices in a shallow bowl and place the aquafaba in another shallow bowl.
  • Coat avocado slices individually in aquafaba and then in the breadcrumb mixture. 
  • Place them next to each other on your prepared baking sheet without overlapping.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside!
  • Serve warm with mayo, hummus, salsa or dip of choice.

Notes

  • Feel free to use any seasonings of your choice, such as onion powder, cajun mix, Italian or pizza seasoning, taco seasoning or curry powder.
  • These fries can be served as finger food during any party or alongside tacos, salad or sandwiches.
