Vegan Golden Milk (Turmeric Latte)

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups soy milk 600 ml
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp turmeric ground
  • 1 tsp ginger ground
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves crushed
  • 2 dates chopped

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and process to obtain a creamy golden liquid.
  • Transfer into a small pot and bring to boil over medium heat.
  • Simmer for a minute or two, then evenly pour into serving cups or glasses.
  • For the iced version: let the latte cool completely, then fill your serving glasses with ice. Pour the latte over it and serve.

Notes

  • If you’re not used to the spices in this recipe, start with a smaller amount!
  • You can use any plant-based milk for this recipe.
  • If you don’t have a blender, simply add 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup to your latte instead of dates.
