Ingredients
Lemon Sorbet
1cupwater
1cupgranulated sugar
4lemons(juiced)
1tablespoonlemon zest
Pinchof salt
Instructions
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Put over medium heat and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and let the lemon syrup cool to room temperature.
Once cool, add fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
Pour the lemon mixture into a shallow container, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Once it’s completely chilled, place it in the freezer and give it a stir every 30 minutes for 3-4 hours, until you get a smooth sorbet consistency.
If you have an ice cream maker, skip the last step and prepare it according to the manufacturer’s instructions!
